The information requested is not a report maintained by the KCSO, therefore, we will perform a custom search and extraction of data available to us. We have interpreted your request for "internal investigations" as IIU events and UOF-Use of Force - and not administrative events (i.e. SAL-supervisor action log, NIM-non-investigative matter, P-pursuit, DRB-driving review board, FD-Firearm Discharge, COM-Commendation, etc.) unless clarification is provided. Also, please provide a date range for our search. If we don't hear from you by , we will proceed with searching for only IIU and UOF for a date range of 5-years. As such, you can expect a response by April 23, 2024 July 12, 2024. If we are unable to meet this self-imposed disclosure date, we will let you know. If we are able to provide an update sooner, we will certainly do so. Your request is subject to fees as allowed under King County Ordinance 18949 and the Public Records Act, RCW 42.56.120.
