Pursuant to the The Kansas Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

(1) any and all data on the number of wasted, spoiled or expired COVID-19 vaccine doses from 12/11/2020 to 01/26/2021, and

(2) any and all data on the total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered from 12/11/2020 to 01/26/2021.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Good afternoon:

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment [KDHE] has reviewed and assessed your Kansas Open Records Act [KORA] request. Your request was for:

(1) any and all data on the number of wasted, spoiled or expired COVID-19 vaccine doses from 12/11/2020 to 01/26/2021, and

(2) any and all data on the total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered from 12/11/2020 to 01/26/2021.

Please see the attachment fulfilling part 1 of your KORA request. Please note that KDHE has not provided "any and all" data as that is rather broad, rather we have provided all data that is publicly available regarding vaccine loss. KDHE is not providing location related vaccine data pursuant to K.S.A. 45-221(a)(12).

In regards to part 2 of your KORA request, all publicly available data on the total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses is available on our website at: https://www.kansasvaccine.gov/158/Data. The website is updated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
