A file containing the university-affiliated email addresses, first and last names of all enrolled University of Kansas students as of the Fall 2021 semester.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

On September 8, 2021, the University of Kansas received your email of the same date requesting records access pursuant to the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA). As required by KORA, the University is responding to your request within the third business day following its date of receipt.
Your request states, in relevant part:
Pursuant to The Kansas Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
A file containing the university-affiliated email addresses, first and last names of all enrolled University of Kansas students as of the Fall 2021 semester.
The University's Student Records Policy<http://policy.ku.edu/registrar/student-record-policy#definitions> does not define email addresses requested in bulk as Directory Information; therefore multiple student email addresses will not be produced.
Further, the University, as an agency of the State of Kansas, is prohibited from the gift or sale of any listing of names and addresses for the purpose of selling or offering for sale any property or service to persons listed therein. Please see K.S.A. ยง45-230.
We are therefore required to decline your request.
