Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

The total amount of M/WBE contracts awarded each year from 2015 to 2020.

A breakdown of percentage of total M/WBE contracts awarded to Minorities (Black, Hispanic, Asian, etc.) and women from 2015 - 2020.

The M/WBE participation goals for each year from 2015 - 2020 and were they met.

How many M/WBE vendors are currently certified by the State.

Which minority or women owned business currently has the largest contract in Illinois.

I'm a reporter at the Chicago Crusader newspaper and this request is made as part of news gathering and not for a commercial use.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
