Illinois Investor-Owned Water Utilities

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 to 11), I hereby request the following records:

All available lists, databases, or equivalent materials regarding and detailing publicly-owned, investor-owned, and/or otherwise privately-owned water utilities located within the State of Illinois. Please include all available segregable materials, including but not limited to the name of the owner or the company in control of the utility, facility locations, any related GIS coordinates for facilities, installations, or municipalities. Please include all materials for all utilities (current, proposed, and/or under review the Illinois Commerce Commission).

In addition, please provide all available customer rate data for the last ten years of available data for the locations requested above.

This request is being made as part of an ongoing journalistic investigation. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
