Pursuant to the Hawaii Uniform Information Practices Act, I hereby request the following records:
Internal reports, summaries, and communications about unsolicited offers to purchase properties impacted by the August 2023 Lahaina wildfire.
A list of prosecutions initiated for violation of the the unsolicited purchase offer provision of the Governor's Sixth Proclamation Relating to Wildfires.
Any non-attorney-staff memos, emails, or recommendations regarding the legal basis for the unsolicited offers prohibition, as well as any completed legal opinions delivered by inside or outside counsel.
Any internal reports, summaries, dashboards, or communications on the number of violations reported, investigated, and/or prosecuted under any provision of the Sixth Proclamation.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Following some clarification, it has been determined that the requested records cannot be disclosed at this time in accordance with HRS 92F-13(3), specifically due to consideration for the Attorney General’s ongoing review/investigation of the Maui wildfires.
