Dear Sir or Madam,

This will serve as a formal request for records under provisions of The Public Information Act, pursuant to the state open records law Tex. Gov't Code Ann. Secs. 552.001 to 552.353.

This is a formal request for the disclosure of records in a digital format (i.e. pdf) of the following:

1. All calls for service relating to any cases of Interference with Child Custody or violations of Texas Penal Code 25.03 since January 1, 2019 through present day.

I want to kindly emphasize that this request does not interfere with detection, investigation or prosecution of a crime.
This formal request is not seeking information on active case per Government Code 552.101 and 552.108, merely requesting all call logs for service.
You may redact any information made confidential under state law.

As provided by the open records law, it is mandate that you respond within ten (10) days. See Tex. Gov’t Code Ann. Secs. 552.221(d) and 231(c).
If you believe this information is not public, I ask that you immediately notify me.

I also request that, fees be waived as we believe this request for disclosure is in the public interest and educational purposes under Texas Government Code § 552.267.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a
representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled
electronically, by e-mail attachment .

If you choose to deny this request, please provide a written explanation for the denial including a reference to the specific statutory exemption(s) upon which you rely.
Also, please provide all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material.
