The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This email is a response to your public records request. Attached are the requested invoice and service agreement for Clearview AI. We have compiled approximately 400 emails which much be reviewed for possible redaction. It's estimated that 4 to 6 hours will be required to complete this task at an hourly rate of $17. Due to your request requiring extensive labor, we are charging an advance payment of $68 for the first 4 hours of labor which must be paid prior to the commencement of emails being reviewed. Florida Statute 119.07(4)(d) authorizes the imposition of a special service charge when the nature or volume of public records to be inspected is such as to require extensive use of information technology resources, or extensive clerical or supervisory assistance, or both. Your check or money order must be made payable to the "City of Gainesville" and mailed with the attached invoice to the following address: Gainesville Police Department, Attention: Reggie Wilson in Records Division, 545 NW 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601. Once your advance payment has been received and production of your request is completed, you will be informed of the final costs associated with your request. Please acknowledge receipt of this email.

Thank you for sending this to us and processing our request. We have sent a check to the city for the records in question. If it is not too late, we would like to amend our Sunshine request for a similar set of records. We request an additional search for records related to any marketing materials or training documents that your city may possess related to the use of Clearview AI. They might be in the same email attachments that your city may be reviewing for responsiveness. I don't think this should be an additional search for records but I am happy to discuss.
