A spreadsheet containing all data reported to the California Department of Justice from 2018-21 pursuant to the Racial and Identity Profiling Act, including all columns of information/variables as well as all location and narrative columns reported under this program. If one or more columns is determined to be non-disclosable or exempt, please provide all remaining columns of information.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

For information all data is mailed to the address you provided on thumb drive. There are fees involved for the type of data provided as such as; per page .16 cents, IT search rate $79 per hour, Thumb drive $4.55, Mail $8.40. Unless an IT search is required, normal cost would be per page, thumb drive and mail. If this is agreeable, we will check further and send you more accurate approximated cost or invoice for fees. Please advise.

Hi, thanks for sending this. Regarding the use of force data, I’m requesting individualized data that specifies at minimum the date of each incident, type(s) of force used, race and gender of the subjects of the use of force, and what weapon (if any) they had on them.

In addition to the fields specified in my previous request regarding the RIPA stops data there are fields for narrative description of the reason for making the stop, a field with the address of the stop, the beat and unique ID of the law enforcement officer making the stop. I’m requesting that these be included and any additional details that are required to be reported as per the Racial & Identity Profiling Act.

In an attempt to clarify what you are requesting, is it only all uses of force from 1/1/2021 to present in field patrol, with race information? Or all contacts made under Racial and Identity Profiling Act, 1/1/2021 to present? Also you appear to be attempting to make down loads that are not appearing in the document section and can not be viewed.
