Hello Mr. Grant,
I hope this message finds you well. I spoke with Sharon on the phone earlier today, and she recommended that I direct my request to you. I hope that my terms are clear and that you will not hesitate to contact me should there be any confusion.
Pursuant to Open Public Records Act ("OPRA"), I hereby request the following records:
• Any requests made from September 1, 2013 through the present day by Randy Mastro, the firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, or associates connected to either that relate to Governor Chris Christie, the event known as "Bridgegate," and media coverage of either Governor Christie or the aforementioned situation. Please expand your search to include the terms "toll/lane realignment," "toll realignment," "lane realignment," "the Fort Lee lane closure," "George Washington bridge," "The New York Times," "The Wall Street Journal," "media," and similar terms you may deem appropriate based upon your experience. Please refer to the article "Christie Lawyer Trying to Find Out What Reporters Have On The Governor" (which can be found here: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/muckraker/christie-mastro-reporters); I would like a copy of the specific requests that were made by Mr. Mastro
• Any documentation reflecting the status of each request that responds to the previous inquiry
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial use.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
