Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

All contracts, licenses, MOUs, MOAs, data agreements, letters of intent, and other agreement documents between the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and SoundThinking. Please include all relevant documents for every SoundThinking product or program that the Department is using, has agreed to use, or used any time since January 1, 2020.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The program’s official launch on August 1st coincides with National Night Out (NNO), an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships.

Data for Good is a community-focused program that enables law enforcement agencies to share precision data about where and when gun violence occurs with non-law enforcement organizations.
