Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
After years of investigating Rose Marks and her family for defrauding clients out of money during an elaborate scam in which they pretended to be psychics, detective Charles Stack approached Jude Montassir (also known as Jude Deveraux), who had been a victim of Rose Marks, about collaborating with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and the FBI in their investigation into Rose Marks. To that end, Jude Montassir recorded telephone conversations with Rose Marks (aka Joyce Michael) on the following dates:
February 12, 2008
July 10, 2008
The calls were then brought into evidence for the following case:
case #: 9:11-CR-80072-KAM
name: U.S. v Rose Marks et al
I would like access to audio of these recordings.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good morning,
I was able to search for the described case, unfortunately I was unable to find any reports involving the provided victim. There is however a similar case, I have ordered it from our off-site to review it. I have checked our Evidence under that case number and have found no recordings. It is possible, that because this was a federal case that the FBI may have the items that you are requesting.
