I request a waiver of all fees for this request since the disclosure of the information I seek is not in my commercial interest, and is likely to contribute significantly to the public understanding of the operations or activities of the government. Earlier this year, Governor Scott named Andrew Fay to the Public Service Commission, which has regulatory authority over the utilities included in this request. The announcement has generated news coverage. The organization I work for, the Energy and Policy Institute, is a clearinghouse of information and can qualify as a representative of the news media. There are several examples of public record requests that have been provided to my organization and that were then published on our website to inform journalists writing articles.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
