Dear Jimin,

Thank you for contacting the Department of State. The Division of Elections provides online election results<https://results.elections.myflorida.com/> from 1978 forward. These election results include county level results on constitutional amendments. They do not include the results of local level initiatives or referendums.

The State Archives of Florida holds Series S 1258 (Election Return Canvasses, 1865-2004<http://archivescatalog.info.florida.gov/default.asp?IDCFile=/fsa/DETAILSS.IDC,SPECIFIC=505,DATABASE=SERIES,> which contains county level initiative and referendum results. The results from 1972 - 2004 are contained within approximately 39 volumes. The Archives staff has estimated 2 hours of research per volume to fulfill your request. This estimate includes the time that it takes to locate each volume, identify the appropriate pages, and then scan the appropriate pages from each volume. Because the Archives staff is limited to 90 minutes for remote research requests, we would suggest that you visit the Archives to conduct your research. The plan your visit page<https://dos.fl.gov/library-archives/archives/visit/> has details regarding in-person research; if you are not able to travel to the State Archives in Tallahassee, you may consider hiring the services of a private researcher. The attachment contains a list of researchers who requested their names be placed on a list maintained by the State Library and Archives of Florida. Please note, this list is merely an aid to our patrons and is not an endorsement of their work above the work of unlisted researchers.

It is also possible that the results for local level initiatives and referendums can be obtained by contacting the supervisor of elections<https://dos.elections.myflorida.com/supervisors/> from each county where those races took place.

State Archives staff will be happy to assist you further either by phone (850) 245-6719 or by email archives@dos.myflorida.com<mailto:archives@dos.myflorida.com>.

I hope this is helpful.
