Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

According to local news reports, Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Cold Case Sexual Assault Unit made an arrest in September in connection with a 1997 sexual assault cold case. According to the report, using DNA technology not available in 1997 and collaborated with Parabon Nanolabs, Inc., the NC State Crime Laboratory, analysts with the FBI’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Program, and other members of Fayetteville Police Department’s Sexual Assault Cold Case Multidisciplinary Team. I am looking for:

- Investigative reports, memos, incident reports regarding this case
- Any invoices, contracts, or MOUs, with Parabon Nanolabs
- Any emails to or from representatives at Parabon nano labs. "*@parabon.com"
- internal Memos, communications, or presentations referencing "Parabon"
- communications with the state crime laboratory referencing "parabon" or "snapshot"

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
