Dear Ms. Russell,
EPD is in receipt of your public records request for "All Civilian Complaints filed against the Everett Police Department for the years 2012-2017". Please clarify for EPD if you are seeking the actual hard copies of civilian complaints or would a generated report that articulates the complaint, any allegations and disposition satisfy your request? EPD finds that more often than not, requestors are not interested in receiving actual investigations, but more looking for a report that provides the elements they are seeking. EPD's fees are .15cents for hard copy records, .10cents for scanned records, and no cost to inspect records at EPD.
Please don't hesitate to contact EPD at email@example.com<mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org> or 425-257-8471 as EPD wishes to respond to your request fully and accurately.
Jeanne Johnson Jacobs
EPD Records Officer
Thank you for asking for more specificity! I'd like the actual hard copies of civilian complaints. Thanks!
