Any and all written records (including but not limited to hard-copy documents, memos, emails, word processor documents, PDF documents, PowerPoint files, etc.) created or written by members of the police department between January 1, 2020 and the date this request is processed (inclusive of those dates) which contain one or more of the following words, terms, or phrases (case-insensitive):

-"blue lives matter"

-"blue lives"

-"thin blue line"

-"police lives matter"

-"all lives matter"

-"black lives matter"

-"BLM"

-"TBL"

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Morton Grove's Police Department has run into a similar problem regarding a voluminous result of documents found within their own organization regarding this issue. Please find the amended request below. We hope that it suffices.

The following request has been amended to be less voluminous:
