Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
1.) Any and all police reports, complaints, and narratives regarding the arrest of Joseph J. Milosich on December 27, 1990.
According to the media: "An Erie County employee was charged with arson Thursday after more than 500 county employees and visitors had to be temporarily evacuated from the county Department of Social Services offices because of a fire. Joseph J. Milosich, 42, of the Town of Tonawanda was charged with second-degree arson. Sheriff's Department investigators said he was taken into custody in the Rath County Office Building and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center to await arraignment today. Investigators said the fire was set at 11:30 a.m. in the Social Services offices at 478 Main St. Damage was minor and there were no reports of injuries.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This is to acknowledge receipt of your FOIL Request concerning:
Joseph J. Milosich arrest 12/27/1990
Please be advised our office is commencing a search of its files for the documents you have requested and will follow up with more information within twenty (20) business days. Please also note that these records may no longer be available, as they are over 31 years old, and our records retention requirements may be 25 years or less after the case has been closed.
If our search indicates that we maintain the requested documents, we will be in contact with you and advise you of the cost. We are required to charge $0.25 per page for copies, Accident or Police Reports are $15.00, DVD’s or CD’s are $25.00.
