Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All emails sent and/or received from 9/20/2020 to 9/28/2020 containing/mentioning any of the following terms:
- Breonna Taylor
- #BreonnaTaylor
Responsive records should include email metadata (sender address, receiver address, time-stamps, etc.), the email subject, the body of the email, and any/all documents attached to each respective email sent/received.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good Morning,
This request can be very costly given the amount of time it will take to identify, pull, review and redact the responsive emails. The cost of $33 per hour, after the first hour, will be charged for this process. The total number of emails that may be responsive to your request is 10,034. It takes around 1 hour to review and redact 10 emails so this request would take around 1,000 hours for a total cost of $33,000. This again, is just an estimate and I will know more once I get halfway through the emails. Also, a project of this nature would require payment upfront. Please let me know if you would like to narrow your request or proceed and I can draft an invoice for your review.
