Please provide a copy of the following:
-A copy of the "blanket bond for employee dishonesty" that covers each Duanesburg Central School District employee.
-A copy of the employee bond that coves the Duanesburg Central School District Internal Claims Auditor.
-A copy of the bond that covers the Duanesburg Central School District Treasurer.
-A copy of the bond that covers the position of the Duanesburg Central School District Tax Collector.

In that there is NO SUCH DOCUMENT that responds to this request, but the
District does maintain a general liability insurance, attached hereto is
the District produces its policy for the insurance it maintains.
Further, I note, once again, that there is *no document responsive to your
request for a “copy of the blanket bond for employee dishonesty"*,* "bond
for Internal Claims Auditor, bond for District Treasurer, and bond for
District Tax Collector."*
I sincerely hope this responds to yours and MuckRock participants' multiple
inquiries for the same thing and the similar request that I responded to on
February 17 to ctbradshaw74@gmail.com. I strongly suggest you research the
policies and/or WHO in the District needs to be bonded, as to avoid
unnecessary duplicated requests in the future.

Thank you for responding to my FOIL request. In my original request that you received on Jan 29, 2022, I asked for a copy of the "Surety Liability Insurance policy." You denied my original FOIL request. On March 18, 2022, nearly two months later and after I sent a different request for a copy of the "blanket bond for employee dishonesty" (this exact wording taken from a DCS BOE meeting minutes), you provided me a copy of the " general liability insurance" policy. Please explain why you denied my Jan 29, 2022 FOIL request for the liability insurance policy, delaying providing me with the FOIL information I requested for nearly two months.

Mr. Bradshaw,
That resolution was in error. The District does not bond its employees,
like the majority of schools in New York State. It is more common to have
employees covered by an insurance policy. I assume you are quickly
learning this as schools respond to your requests.
Therefore, your request is denied as it does not exist in the records
possessed by the District, which was one of the reasons cited in my
response. There is no delay. The District will rescind and clarify the
resolution passed last July at its next regularly scheduled board meeting.
Again, the record for which you seek does not exist and therefore the
District will not be producing it. I trust this completes your FOIL
request.

Thank you for your response. I am still confused about one thing. Why didn't you provide me with the "general liability insurance" policy when I originally requested it (from the FOIL request you received on January 29, 2022)? At the time, I asked for the "Surety Liability Insurance policy" and you denied my request.

In your original request, the request was not for the exact document that
was provided later on. The document that was provided in the second
request was done with an assumption that you were looking for something
else, which happened to be what you might have been looking to receive.
FOIL requests are a request for documents, not a questions and
answers email chain.
This foil request is complete, and no further response is required.
If you would like to appeal this decision, you are welcome to contact the
