Ms. Hunt,
Your FOIA request of 2-26-17 has been forwarded to me. You have asked for the SAO file in connection with People v. Porter-Boens.
I want to make sure that I have the right case before I attempt to order the file. Are you asking for the SAO file for People v. Porter-Boens, 08 CR 18884, a case where defendant Zoneike Porter-Boens was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer? As far as I can tell, there was a finding of guilty entered on April 1, 2011.
This is the only People v. Porter-Boens that I was able to find. If this is the correct case please me know and I will order the file. I do not know if our file in this case is still retained but if it is the one you are requesting, I'll order it and we'll see.
Thanks,
Paul

Hello Mr. Castiglione
Yes, that is the correct case.
Thank you
From: PAUL CASTIGLIONE (States Attorney)
OK, I'll order the file right now.
I will out of the office next week and will not return until 3-15. In light of my time away, I am requesting an extension of time pursuant to Section 3(e) of Illinois' FOIA until 3-22 to respond to your FOIA request. Hopefully, upon my return, I will have some idea if we still have the file in People v. Porter-Boens, 08 CR 18884.
Thank you.

Ms. Hunt,
I have not yet received the file in People v. Porter-Boens, 08 CR 18884. I am going to follow through and see if we can find this.
I am going to need another extension. I suggest that we extend this to 4-14-17 and, as I said, I will find out what progress has been made on finding this file.
Thank you.
Paul
