RE: FOIA Request of February 05, 2024, Reference # R051869-020524

Dear e e,

You requested:
Previously, I extended the time for response by five business days to today. If you are agreeable, I would like to extend the response date to March 8, 2024 as the FOIA officer who was handling this request, Michael Halpin, has left the Cook County Sheriff's Office, and it is necessary for me to re-confer with staff internally to establish what documents he had already sought and gathered, which exist and which do not. In addition, we had another FOIA officer leave this month and are, at the moment, short handed. We are working to train replacements as quickly as possible, and will contact you again regarding this request on March 8. All contracts, licenses, MOUs, MOAs, data agreements, letters of intent, State of Work documents, Scope of Work documents, and other agreement documents with Flock Safety that were active any time between 1/1/2017 and 2/1/2024.

5 ILCS 140/3(e)(ii). Please note that this correspondence does not serve to waive any exemptions available to this public body under FOIA.
Sincerely,

Robert Olmstead
