From: Downes, Maura

Ms. Curtis,

Your organization continues to send multiple staff members at the Connecticut Department of Public Health follow up emails regarding your FOI request for numbers of gun-related deaths in Connecticut.

First and foremost, DPH provided its response to this FOI request on July 28th. Moreover, we have responded to your subsequent emails on more than one occasion to inform you that our response had already been provided. I have once again pasted it to the bottom of this email for your reference.

Second, please direct FOI requests for CT DPH to the following email address, and this address only: dph.foi@ct.gov<mailto:dph.foi@ct.gov>.

Lastly, the repeated emails from your organization asking for information you were already supplied more than a month ago is bordering on harassment. This is also not the first FOI request that DPH has fulfilled for your organization, only to be emailed repeatedly afterward asking for an update on the fulfillment of the request. If these emails are being automatically generated by your computer system, which seems likely to be the case, I strongly recommend your organization take appropriate action to ensure that your system is updated so that these harassing emails cease. If they do not, DPH will consider appropriate additional steps on our end to ensure that agency and staff resources and time are not being wasted on requests from your organization that have already been fulfilled.

Sincerely,

Maura
