Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A list of all schools or school districts in Colorado that have been victims of ransomware attacks in 2021 through July 31st. If possible, I'd like the school/district name, date of attack and the ransomware strain involved.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

We are in receipt of your Wednesday, Aug. 4 records request concerning school districts in Colorado that have been victims of ransomware attacks in 2021. The Colorado Department Of Education is not in possession of any documents responsive to your request. You would have to contact each school district directly. Attached you will find a most recent spreadsheet of Colorado school districts mailing list.
