Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 to 11), I hereby request the following records:
Please provide a a list of zoning map amendment applications currently under review, as of March 7 2016, and any accompanying documents.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Under FOIA the department has five working days to respond. Your email request is time stamped at 4:50 p.m. and was received on Monday, March 21. I will forward to zoning staff for the list. Your request also asks "for any accompanying documents". Please clarify. Thank you.

Good morning Mr. Gregg,
I goal is to respond to your FOIA request by the end of the day. It would be due tomorrow. That being said, I want to give you a heads up regarding our prepared response. I am providing a list, as the request asks for, of the zoning amendments that has been introduced to the City Council since March 7, 2016. I asked for clarification regarding"any accompanying documents", and you indicated you wanted copies of the amendment applications. There are 60 applications. These applications can vary in volume and are not electronically scanned. I will provide the list and their ordinances. The list has application numbers and those numbers will pull up the application on the City Clerk's website. If you have any further questions you may give me a call at 312-744-0986. Thank you.
