Public Employee Lists in Chicago

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

Digital copies of Chicago's lists of "Employee Names, Salaries, and Position Titles" going back in time, for as long as such lists are digitized (i.e. available in a spreadsheet).

The current list is available online in the city's open data portal here: https://data.cityofchicago.org/Administration-Finance/Current-Employee-Names-Salaries-and-Position-Title/xzkq-xp2w . This request seeks the same lists for prior years for as long as data is available.

In addition, I request that the city disclose whether earlier hard copies of employee lists are available for years prior to the time when lists began getting digitized. If so, I will file a separate request for those hard copies from earlier years.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
