We're sending you this email in regard to your FOIArequest received on October 17, 2018. The OEMC sought an extension on October 24th and October 31st;At this time, we are seeking an extension of five (5) additional working days for one or more of the following reasons: however, it has notbeen determined if the OEMC has any responsive records as it pertainsto your request. At this time, the OEMC is still searching for responsiverecords. The OEMC will continue to search for records and will notify you onceour search is complete. Ifyou have any questions or concerns, feel free to call. Weare requesting an additional (5) day extension in regards to your FOIA request. ( ) The requested records are stored in whole or in part at other locations than the office having charge of the requested records; ( ) The requested records require the collection of a substantial number of specified records; ( ) The request is couched in categorical terms and requires an extensive search for the records responsive to it; (x) The requested records have not been located in the course of routine search and additional efforts are being made to locate them; ( ) The requested records require examination and evaluation by personnel having the necessary competence and discretion to determine if they are exempt from disclosure or should be revealed only with appropriate deletions; ( ) The request for records cannot be complied with by the public body within the time limits prescribed by the Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140/3(c), without unduly burdening or interfering with the operations of the public body; (x) There is a need for consultation, which shall be conducted with all practicable speed, with another public body or among two or more components of any public body having a substantial interest in the determination or in the subject matter of the request.
