Mr. Waltman,
The Chicago Police Department responded to your FOIA request on November 15, 2016, through counsel (me) by e-mail. The response letter was attached the my November 15, 2016 e-mail that you replied to. I’ve attached another copy of the November 15, 2016 response letter to this e-mail.
As explained in the attached response letter, CPD produced 488 pages of documents in response to your request. The documents are in two separate pdf files at the web link provided in the response letter. The pdf files were too large to e-mail, so CPD posted them to the web link. The response letter also provided you with a password to access the link.
In the event you are having difficulty locating the web link in the attached response letter, here it is again: https://securefiles.dbr.com/bds/Login.do?id=A0531376697&p1=dej01nisbgeceihhkilegicej20. The password for the web link is !November2016. You can download the pdf files after you access the link and enter the password. The link will expire on December 6, 2016.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Best,
Jeff

To whom it may concern,
Chicago Police responded to my records request in late November. The documents were stored on a weblink which had a 2 week time limit on it for me to download those documents. Since I downloaded the documents, my computer has crashed resulting in my having to purchase a new laptop, which has resulted in those documents being inaccessible to me. Could you please resend those documents to me? For your reference my request number was P053934, and the body of my request was as follows:
Documents concerning IMSI catchers or any of the following words: "Stingray", "cell site simulator", or "dirtbox". including:
-Contracts with the Harris Corporation regarding the acquisition of their Stingray or KingFish IMSI catchers
-Department policies and procedure regarding the use of IMSI catcher technology
-policies and procedures on the keeping of statistics about the Department's use and acquisition of IMSI catchers
Thank you for your help on this matter.
Best,
Curtis Waltman

Mr. Waltman,
The City has responded to this FOIA request multiple times, including in November 2016 and February 2017. It appears that you may have this request confused with a different request.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss.
Best,
Jeff
