To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 to 11), I hereby request the following records:
Documents sufficient to show the table structure of the CLEAR database. This FOIA assumes that your data for bonds is stored in a Relational Database like SQL (which I believe it is).
Please be aware that these documents are already stored electronically, therefore I request these documents be sent to us in a machine readable format (Excel should be fine). You will have to request a database administrator who is familiar with SQL queries. Please be aware that we are looking for the names of the tables and the rows within that table. We do NOT seek the records in the rows.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. This request is being made by the Lucy Parsons Labs, a registered non-profit in the State of IL.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Freddy Martinez
