I would like to update you on the status of FOIA P052580.
As of today, your request for information has been directed to the CPD Police Academy, which maintains the Department's records relating to training. The Academy has indicated that they are in the process of compiling data relevant to your request, but due to a current work backlog, it will take approximately four more weeks to provide responsive information.
Considering this situation, I would propose extending this matter to Wednesday, November 9, 2016, in order to give the Academy sufficient time to respond. If documentation becomes available prior to that date, I will forward it to you as it becomes available.
Please let me know if this arrangement is workable for you.
