Mr. Shea,
I have received your FOIA request. Could you please clarify the request for me? When referring to all document, are you referring to policies, reports, or something else?
Additionally, while not required in any way, if you want to provide some information about what you are trying to obtain, it might make the response more accurate or useful to you if the information is available.

Lieutenant Sandridge,
Thank you very much for your rapid response. Internal policies relating to the curfew are the main focus of my inquiry. If the number of total reports from the last year is prohibitively large, I would not need to look at them. If there are fewer than 100 reports in 2016, the reports would be useful. If any document exists summarizing those reports or the enforcement of the curfew policy, that would be useful.
Thank you for your quick response,
Alec Shea

Good afternoon,
Attached you will the City Code for curfew violations. There are three codes that are related to curfew, but 17-7 is the primary one that is used. This can also be found online at City of Charlottesville Code on Municode.com, however I am unable to provide the link so I have copied the responsive codes to a document attachment of the e-mail. I have also attached our Police Department Policy on Juvenile Matters which includes some instruction on curfew violations.
Our records management system indicates we have taken 10 curfew related reports in the last 5 years. The breakdown is as follows:
To date in 2017-0
2016-3
2015-0
2014-3
2013-1
2012-3
These records are considered juvenile law enforcement records and/or juvenile criminal investigative records, so pursuant to section 16.1-301(A) and 2.2-3706 (A)(2)(a) of the Code of Virginia, they will not be released. This FOIA matter is considered closed. If you have further questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Lieutenant C. S. Sandridge
