To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the South Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
a catalog of all Enterprises Systems, including CRM (Customer Relationship Management, e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and Adobe Marketo), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Workday), and iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service, e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, SnapLogic, Dell Boomi, and Jitterbit), that are used in all departments, including 311, police, permitting, finance, etc. The catalog contains the current system vendor, system product name, and system's purpose.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.
To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to follow up on the following South Carolina Public Records Law request, copied below, and originally submitted on Feb. 4, 2020. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
This is in response to your original Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA") request dated February 4 and your follow up correspondence regarding the same FOIA request dated February 26. In both of those requests, you were seeking access to the City's documents relating to the IT systems, more specifically, a catalog of the Enterprise Systems including CRM, ERP, AND iPaas.
After reviewing your request, we have determined that your request is exempt from public disclosure pursuant to § 30-4-30(A)(2), which reads "[a] public body is not required to create an electronic version of a public record when one does not exist to fulfill a records request." Therefore, the City of Charleston has no responsive documents to produce.
This completes the City's response to your FOIA request and we now consider the matter to be closed.
