I'm following up on the following California Public Records Act request, copied below, and originally submitted on June 12, 2017. You had previously indicated that it would be completed on July 31, 2017. I wanted to check on the status of my request, and to see if there was a new estimated completion date.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
From: Bothwell, Nancy@DTSC
Dear Mr. Glasser,
Unfortunately, we will not be able to meet the July 31 deadline. Due to the large amount of emails, many of which may be withheld as exempt from disclosure, additional review is necessary. In addition, we have had some difficulties with our records retention due to changes in software throughout the department. This has required additional time to ensure all documents are reviewed. We hope to get the producible documents to you by August 14, 2017. I appreciate your patience. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
