Dear Records Request Officer:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

A list or dataset of all of the law enforcement officers who have undergone the Drug Recognition Expert/Evaluator training in California from January 1, 2013 to April 1, 2017 including, but not limited to: the officer's name, date of birth, jurisdiction of where they work, their title, the date of their first certification and if they have been recertified in the program.

If you do not have every field I’ve asked for, please provide what fields/information the CHP does have.

I would also like to note that I am not requesting paper records, but electronic information. I can accept this data in a variety of formats, such as CSV, TSV or in a database or statistical software program format. I also can accept the data on a CD, portable drive, or via ftp. I also can provide a link for a file upload.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request.
