CA Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has identified non-exempt public records responsive to your request. CDCR’s Office of Research can provide the following:
A list of felon offenders in the in-custody population (as of December 31, 2023) sentenced under PC 667(b)-(i) or PC 1170.12. These data will exclude any offenders who would have received an indeterminate term, regardless of being sentenced under PC 667(b)-(i) or PC 1170.12.
The list will contain the following data elements:
- Name
- Sentence Pronounced Date
- Current CDCR Number
- Month and Year of Control Date*
- All offenses on their current term for all cases
- Current Age, Age at Sentence Pronounced Date, Race, and Sentencing County (for each offense)
*Please note, for 3rd strike offenders and those who got a 2nd strike with an indeterminate term, the minimum eligible parole date may be a date in the past.
Pursuant to Government Code sections 7927.705 and 7922.000, PC 290.45, and WIC 827, these data exclude identifying information pertaining to offenders under the age of 18, where disclosure is prohibited by law, and those who CDCR has determined that the release of their information would create an unreasonable risk of danger to themselves.
Due to this being requests for unique reports that are not regularly produced, the PRA allows the department to collect payment for the production of these records. OR states it will take approximately 3 hours of computer programming to complete this request. The cost to extract this information is $178.56.
An invoice with itemized costs is attached. To pay electronically with a debit/credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) through the CDCR Public Records Portal choose “My Request Center” and then choose “View My Invoices”.  Log in when prompted and then choose “Make Payment”. Please note that there is a non-refundable 2.3% transaction fee associated with each debit/credit card payment.
