Amusement Park Inspections

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California's Sunshine Amendment (Cal. Const. Art. I, § 3(b)), I hereby request the following records:

A copy of any amusement ride inspections in California for the past three (3) years based on the ASTM Amusement Ride Standards, as legislated under California Occupational Safety and Health Regulations Title 8, chapter 3.2 subchapter 2. article 6 344.8.

Please include information on both temporary and permanent amusement rides in both Northern and Southern California.

I also request any databases that summarize, track, or otherwise based on these inspections

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

In addition to my previous request I would like to request a copy of amusement ride audits and inspections in California for the past three (3) years as legislated under California Occupational Safety and Health Regulations Title 8, chapter 3.2 subchapter 2 article 6 section 344.8; and accidental response and notifications as legislated under section 344.15.

I also request any databases that summarize, track, or otherwise based on these inspections be in their native electronic format.
