Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the current list by subject matter, of all records in the possession of the agency.
Per NEW YORK PUBLIC OFFICERS LAW, ARTICLE 6, Section 87(3):
"Each agency shall maintain:
[....]
(c) a reasonably detailed current list by subject matter, of all records in the possession of the agency, whether or not available under this article. Each agency shall update its subject matter list annually, and the date of the most recent update shall be conspicuously indicated on the list."
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is not being made for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

The Buffalo Police department is in receipt of your Freedom of Information
request for records pertaining to departmental forms , etc maintained by
the Buffalo Police Department in the course of it's daily business.
Your request has resulted in 18 pages of copied material of all forms
maintained by the department.
As per the availability of the records listed, you would need to make a
specific request of the specific record(s) and at that time, you will be
advised if releasable or not per the New York Public Officer's law.
Please forward a check made payable to the Buffalo Police Department in the
amount of $4.50 (.25 per page) and the list of forms/records will be
forwarded to you.
