Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
-Any expense reports related to the Guardian Program, in which Hendry County Public School District faculty will be trained to carry concealed weapons
-Any training materials related to the Guardian Program
-Any contracts/memorandums of understanding between the Hendry County Sheriff's Department and Hendry County Public School District related to the Guardian Program
Please provide materials on a rolling basis, as they become available.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good afternoon, Sarika.
I’m sending you the documents that I have available as of right now that are responsive to your request. I will send any others as I receive them.
Related to guardian training, see the attached Guardian CMS LP and Text book, Handgun Level 1, 2 and advanced.
The Human Diversity training is provided by the Anti-Defamation League through the school board. You would need to reach out to them for a copy of their lesson plan.
The expense reports are still being processed, but we’ve attached the Charter School Estimated Kit Cost spreadsheet that provides approximate cost. The final costs will also include $357 cost of the guardian’s pistol.
Lastly, I attached the SBBC Guardian Program pdf. This is the proposed MOU sent to the Broward School Board for vote.
