The full police report pertaining to the July 29, 2020 shooting death of Juan Rene Hummel Jr., complete, unedited footage from the police officer's body camera (as well as cruiser camera, if applicable) pertaining to the July 29, 2020 shooting death of Juan Rene Hummel Jr., and the name and badge number of the police offer who shot and killed Juan Rene Hummel Jr. on July 29, 2020.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

These records are part of an open and active investigation being conducted by SMART (Snohomish County Multi-Agency Response Team). However, please note t he Bothell Police Department does not have or utilize body cameras or dash cameras. Everett PD is the custodian of all SMART records. The nondisclosure of such active investigative records is essential for effective law enforcement.
