There is an additional responsive record of an email sent by Officer Parker to a member of our IT department forwarding a message he received of a potentially dangerous email. The email Officer Parker was forwarding was a user alert from our email filtering system that intercepted a spam or phishing email. Our system was set up for a short time to allow these user alerts; a process now discontinued as spam and phishing emails are filtered/quarantined only by IT. I am concerned about providing you with this email as the forwarded message by Officer Parker contains the flagged email as an attachment. I would not want to expose you or anyone else accessing this email to something that may harm your own computer.
Based on the foregoing explanation and concern, would you consent to the withholding of this email record? Please let me know if you will agree to not receive this record by Thursday, March 26.

Per our conversion of 03/27/20, you stated that you were satisfied with the explanation of the email containing spam and are not asking it to be sent to you.
You had mentioned an email regarding the NorthShore District and John Biggerstaff.  I had explained that a city Public Records Officer completed an all city email compliance check and that the email in question did not appear in the results.  I also explained to you the city's retention period of 90 days for emails would have been the reason.  You stated that you understood and that I may now close this public records request.
