any and all contracts, requests for proposals (rfps), and solicitations relating to: “SDD ‐ Dukes County Sheriffs Jail & HOC ‐ Long Term Needs Fea”

The name of the project is cut off in the previous records I have seen. The project is part of the SDD2001P program.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

The Massachusetts General Laws for Public Records provides that certain fees may be assessed when public record requests are made to a custodian of documents. In order to make records more accessible to the public, we may waive search, retrieval and copying charges. In addition, we will strive to fulfill requests electronically, if we are able. Otherwise, once copied the responsive documents will be mailed to you or made available for pick-up at our offices.

Response to: Public Records No. 21-223

Dear Mr. Weimer:

The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (“DCAMM”) received your public records request dated July 30, 2021.

You requested:

“any and all contracts, requests for proposals (rfps), and solicitations relating to: “SDD ‐ Dukes County Sheriffs Jail & HOC ‐ Long Term Needs Fea”

The name of the project is cut off in the previous records I have seen. The project is part of the SDD2001P program.”
The subject project was initiated and then put on hold. As a consequence there are no contracts, RFPs or solicitations, therefore a diligent search of DCAMM records did not reveal any documents responsive to your request.

If you wish to challenge any aspect of DCAMM’s response, in accordance with G.L. c. 66, § 10 and 950 CMR 32.00, you may appeal to the following office: Supervisor of Public Records, Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth, Public Records Division, One Ashburton Place, 17th Floor, Boston, MA 02108, and in accordance with G.L. c. 66, § 10A(c), you have the right to seek judicial review of an unfavorable decision by commencing a civil action in the Superior Court.

Sincerely,

PUBLIC RECORDS UNIT
