Thank you for getting back to me.

On January 28, 2016, I was given a different count of records. (See letter here: https://www.muckrock.com/foi/boston-3/boston-police-department-anti-olympic-activism-20811/#file-72992).

A search for (1) Any records, electronic or written, that contain one or more of the following phrases: "No Boston 2024," "No Boston Olympics," and/or "Boston 2024" produced responsive 17,061 documents.

A search for (2) Any records, electronic or written, from June 13, 2015, referencing the Boston Pride parade AND the terms “Boston 2024” and/or “Olympic(s)” produced 145,560 responsive documents.

Is there a reason for the discrepancy?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Jonathan,

Hope this email find you well. We are in the process of compiling
responsive emails to your request. As you may be aware the numbers of
emails that are being reviewed number in the thousands. I have a
question/request for you that may speed up the time it will take to print
and review.

I have attached some of the responsive emails below for you view. I would
suggest that at least 90 percent of the responsive emails are similar to
these. Most of the emails are new alerts, media updates, news feeds etc.
Are you looking to receive these types of emails or can we set those aside
in the interest of time? With your cooperation we can focus on emails to
and from department employees that are responsive to your request.

Let me know at your earliest convenience.

Thanks

Dear Lt. McCarthy,

My email address is jrfcohn@gmail.com---two letters flipped from what you have above. My apologies if I accidentally had a typo in the prior letter. And sorry for missing the call yesterday!

And thanks for the follow-up. You can eliminate any Google Alerts and any news alerts. If they are forwarded with commentary, that would be relevant. If they are forwarded without commentary, then you can leave that out.

Thanks for asking for clarification! I should have included this in the original request.

Best,
Jonathan

now. I should have the documents for you soon. I will be in touch.
