Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

Any and all documents related to the March 4, 2017 protests held in Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park.

This includes:
- permits and requests for permits submitted by event organizers
- instructions and orders given to officers on duty at the event
- rosters of on duty officers at the event
- equipment requests and inventories related to the event
- intelligence briefings and reports on any and all attending parties, including "Proud Boys", "By Any Means Necessary"/"BAMN", and "Antifa"
- Press inquiries and any responses to those inquiries
- Any and all comments, questions and complaints sent by the general public about this event (both before and after), and any responses sent in reply
- Any and all emails to and from the Mayor of Berkeley and his staff related to this event
- Any and all emails to and from any Berkeley City council members related to this event
- Any and all internal emails sent to or from BPD officers pertaining to this event
- Any and all incident reports related to arrests which occurred during and after this event

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
