Jenny Wadhwa,

The purpose of this message is to inform you that your request will be forwarded to the City of Bellevue City Clerk’s Office for handling. Your request is still considered open. Any request for "any and all" public records, or a request that contains a request for any potentially associated e-mails, correspondence, or the coordination with more than one City department must be handled by their office. The Bellevue Police Department does not manage the City of Bellevue's traffic cameras, so any request for traffic camera footage should be made through the City Clerk's Office, as well.

The City Clerk’s Office will be your point of contact for this request moving forward. Your assigned Police Department reference number will be C000359-041824. You should anticipate a response from their office by 04/25/24.

Jenny Wadhwa,
We have searched by the violation code in our records management system, and we aren't able to search any other way. We have conducted a thorough search of our records pursuant to your request and have been unable to locate anything responsive. While we are expected to retain records for a minimum of six years unless otherwise required by law, we currently have cases dating back to 2005. None of our cases from 2005 to the present date include the requested information. Please keep in mind that we are only able to search records that have been reported to or have occurred within the City of Bellevue jurisdiction.
We are unable to provide you with further information to assist your needs. This is our final, definitive response and your request is closed.  As the city does not intend to further address the request, the Public Records Act one-year statute of limitations to seek judicial review has now started to run.
If you require any further assistance from the Bellevue Police Department regarding this matter, please contact the Records Unit via the Public Records Portal or by telephone at (425) 452-6917.
Thank you,
