I am appealing the contructive denial of my FOIL request submitted to the Amherst Police Department on 04/07/2022 regarding: 1.) Any and all police reports, complaints, and narratives for the following address: 44 Claremont Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223.

A constructive denial of access defined by the New York State Committee on Open Government is when an agency fails to respond to a request within time limits set forth in statute.

Upon information and belief, the Amherst Police Department has failed to acknowledge my request within 5 business days, as required by NYS Freedom of Information Law. I look forward to your response (appeal response) within 10 business days.
