From: Jackson Parker
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
I am writing under the New York State Freedom of Information Law (Public Officers Law §84 et seq.) to request access to and copies of all records found in and around the time capsules referenced in a recent Times Union article [1], and any additional time capsules not referenced in the article associated with the Major General Philip Schuyler Statue.
This includes, but is not limited to, maps, photographs, coins, and other memorabilia dating back to the statue's unveiling in 1925. I am specifically interested in the atlas from 1876 and the book on the history of the city that were noted in the article.
Moreover, I am also requesting copies of all communications and materials provided to the Albany Institute of History and Art regarding the time capsule(s) and the contents therein.
As these documents will provide invaluable historical context, I would appreciate if the process could be expedited and copies of readily available items provided first.
If my request is denied in whole or in part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the law.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Jackson Parker
