Communications

From: Justin Seitz

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Alaska Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am seeking any and all submissions, communications (electronic, written or otherwise), photographs, documents or other materials submitted by your organization to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NAMUS) database, maintained by the United States Department of Justice as it relates to LAURA LEE HENDERSON with NAMUS #MP66658. As the NAMUS database is itself a public record and is itself accessible via public records requests, the records you have submitted along with any communications themselves with NAMUS would also be provided as public documents and exempt from exclusion.

The record indicates that it was created on March 17, 2020 and last updated February 2, 2013 and as such I seek any records from January 1, 2020 through May 15, 2023.

The Kodiak Police Department case file #861621364 and the Alaska State Trooper record does not indicate a file number.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Justin Seitz
