Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. Any policy, guidelines, instructions, or similar guidance concerning the issuance of press credentials by the Alameda County District Attorney. If the office of the District Attorney is not responsible for issuing press credentials, then please provide any policy, guidelines, instructions, or similar guidance applicable to the issuance of press credentials used for media events held by or for the District Attorney.

2. A copy of the "long-standing" standards referenced by Patti Lee's statement ot the San Francisco Chronicle, reported here: https://www.sfchronicle.com/politics/article/pamela-price-reporter-18525641.php.

3. All records reflecting any review of the credentials of Emilie Raguso and/or the Berkeley Scanner.

4. All records reflecting the inclusion or removal of Emilie Raguso and/or the Berkeley Scanner from any media distribution list.

5. A copy of any current media distribution list used by the Office of the District Attorney.

6. A copy of the media sign-in sheet used for the November 29, 2023 press conference.

7. All records reflecting the "vett[ing]" of any "media outlet[]" as referenced by Patti Lee's statement to the San Francisco Chronicle, reported here: https://www.sfchronicle.com/politics/article/pamela-price-reporter-18525641.php. This request is limited to records reflecting any "vetting" conducted since January 1, 2022.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I request:

request under the Public Records Act. This includes, without limitation,
any processing notes, emails, memoranda, text messages, social media
messages, or other communications reflecting efforts to retrieve, sort,
process, or produce responsive records. This includes, without limitation,
any such records sent, received, or possessed by Haaziq Madyun, Patti Lee,
Catherine Kobal, and/or Pamela Price.

2. Any records generated as a result of any Public Records Act request
where the request mentions "Berkeley Scanner" or "Raguso." This includes,
without limitation, any processing notes, emails, memoranda, text messages,
social media messages, or other communications reflecting efforts to
retrieve, sort, process, or produce responsive records. This category is
limited to requests received on or after November 27, 2023.

3. Any communications sent or received by Haaziq Madyun, Patti Lee,
Catherine Kobal, or Pamela Price concerning or mentioning "Berkeley
Scanner," "Raguso," "Muckrock," or "Steinbaugh" on or after November 1,
2023. This includes, without limitation, any emails, text messages, social
media messages, memoranda, or other communications.

4. A copy of any "media credentials and guidelines" developed since
December 2, 2023, as referenced in the press release of the same date
entitled "ALAMEDA COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY PAMELA PRICE REAFFIRMS HER
COMMITMENT TO THE FIRST AMENDMENT - ALLOWS EMILIE RAGUSO TO ATTEND PRESS
CONFERENCES."

In the event that you believe any record is exempt under the California
Public Records Act, please identify the claimed exemption and the category
of request to which it applies.

Please note that this request seeks public records wherever they may be
found, including on devices or networks owned or operated by private
parties. For example, if an employee uses a personal cell phone or social
media account to conduct public business, records created, maintained, or
