To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
An example of an audit carried out by the Library of Virginia as specified in Section 42.1-90.1 "Auditing" of the Virginia Public Records Act. You can pick any audit the LOV has ever performed. It doesn't matter. The requester is seeking a single example. Please also provide a copy of the written summary of the findings and any suggested actions necessary to bring the agency into compliance.
See the attached for reference.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Shawn Breen

Mr. Breen,
In this case, the Library has no responsive records for your request. We
have never conducted an audit pursuant to 42.1-90.1, and therefore have no
examples to provide.
