Pursuant to the the Louisiana Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All policies relating to, or mentioning, the word "ADA," "disability," "blind," or "deaf," or the phrase "Americans with Disabilities Act;"

The number of prisoners who have been identified by DOC as blind or as having visual impairments, if any;

The number of prisoners who have been identified by DOC as deaf or as being hard of hearing, if any;

The number of prisoners who have been identified by DOC as being blind and deaf, if any;

The number of prisoners who have been identified by DOC as having mobility impairments (e.g., spinal cord injuries, quadriplegia, etc.);

The number of prisoners placed in administrative segregation, protective custody, or similar status, and who have been identified by DOC as (1) blind or as having a visual impairment; (2) deaf or as being hard of hearing; (3) blind and deaf, and/or (4) having a mobility impairment.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
